We offer a huge selection of colours for powder coating, including the full RAL Classic range and British Standard BS 381C and BS 4800 colours. Custom colours are available too: we can match accurately to any colour sample using our spectrophotometer, with RAL, BS, Pantone, NCS and Munsell charts available.

Giving us a colour reference

The easiest way to get the colour right is to give us its code. RAL Classic colours have a four-digit number, such as RAL 9005 (jet black) or RAL 7016 (anthracite grey). British Standard colours each have their own BS 381C or BS 4800 reference.

If you're matching something that's already been finished, send us a sample instead and we'll match it on our spectrophotometer.

Gloss and texture

It's worth telling us the finish as well as the colour. The same colour can look quite different in matt, satin and gloss, and textured finishes are available too. If you're matching existing work, try to match the gloss level as well as the shade.

Choosing a colour

Colours on screen are only an approximate match, as they vary with monitor type and settings. For an exact match, check against a physical shade card or send us a sample of the colour you need.
